DEAN E. ROBERTSTON
Dean Robertson is an artist from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. His paintings capture the spectacular beauty of Northern Canada and let you glimpse into the lives of the people and animals that survive in this rugged land. Living in Yellowknife sine 1975, he has spent numerous years exploring the north. His biology career has given him the opportunity to observe a variety of wild animals in the boreal forest and arctic tundra, and many of these experiences are portrayed in his paintings. He currently prefers to paint with acrylics on canvas or masonite, as well as painting on natural objects such as wood slabs, antlers, and skulls.
